Thursday, May 17th, Ricky graduated from Veritas...
We had a few minutes to share some memories and give advice to Ricky. Then we handed him the diploma and moved the tassle to the left side.
The memories are like a vapor. How does life go so quickly? It's like yesterday holding him as a newborn, watching him walk, teaching him to read, learning to love to sing in choir, seeing him run like a deer, changing from interest in med school to studying law, found Veritas, enrolled in College Plus. Now graduating from high school and a BA in political science. He will work for a local Public Defender for the Federal Court System in Atlanta this next year and has plans to start law school in the fall of 2013.
We have prayed daily, had many a lively discussion about myriad topics, seen the Lord convict and encourage in his walk, been astonished at his focus, motivation, perserverance and vision. Now may the Lord go before him, lead his paths, and use him for the glory of God!
We are so thankful for Ricky and the blessing he is to our family!
