Waking this morning, snow was on the forecast. We wondered if it would come. We hoped that it would! About 11:00am, the snow began to fall! It has fallen steadily since then. We have been loving this beautiful snow treat!!
Suddenly, the school and the studying for exams were not as important & more able to wait a little longer. We eagerly wanted to enjoy this day & this snow, knowing it is rare!!
We came inside with a bucket of snow to make snow ice cream! :)
As we return to our school books and exam studying tonight, the snow is still outside under the darkening sky. Today has been a rare day. As my sister and I were standing at the bottom of the hill, watching & laughing, watching those on the sled come slipping down, we talked about how fun this was, how unexpected the snow had come! She said, "You can't plan days like this!"
Today was a day only God could plan and send!
Hmm...Silly of me to think of it that way! Of course. When I see it written here, I remember: everyday is that way, of course! :) God gives everyday. Everyday is a gift!
Today was easy to remember His Goodness through this lovely white gift ~ As the snow melts, there will be beautiful things underneath, gifts that only God could create. May I just have a heart willing to see them!
