Snapshots of late summer ~

(Enjoying an end of summer ice cream outing which Dad treated us to!)

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah." (Psalms 68:19)

An adventure of our summer was making some items to sell at a small local farmer's market. Us girls had the pleasure of spending most Friday afternoons in the kitchen baking. We loved an excuse to spend an entire afternoon talking, laughing, baking & of course, eating. :) On Saturday mornings, we got up early & headed to the market to sell our baked goods & a few purses & things Rosy creatively made.

To our surprise, we came to be known as the "amish girls" at market!(??) Maybe because we are teenage girls who wear skirts & bake? :) It made for some wonderful memories ~ it is easy to laugh about all our mistakes now that it is over. (We made whole wheat blueberry muffins w/o using whole wheat flour!) We learned many lessons in joy. :)

Meet Teddy; the sweet apple! (enjoying caramal apples earlier this week.)

Powering our hair for our dear friend's surprise 40th birthday party!

Everyone was encouraged to come dressed in black or like an old person... It was so fun to see how creative some got with their outfits!
She was very surprised -- we are so blessed to know her!

(During Tommy's first soccer game.) It is inspiring to see his excitement.

Sleepover the last night Livy was ever 13! We finished off some cookies & stayed up a bit too late...
Sister date on Livy's birthday ~
We got coffee & then drove to find a quiet place to talk for awhile. :) These girls are such a blessing to my heart...

Making Livy's cake. :) We tried fondant & loved it!

"Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

To Him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, He doth send out His voice, and that a mighty voice.

Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, and His strength is in the clouds.
O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is He that giveth strength and power unto His people. Blessed be God."
(Psalms 68:32-35)
Blessed be God. How blessed I am to be alive!!
