U.n.s.p.o.t.t.e.d.!

In July, we hosted a girl's camp at our home for all the young girls who attend our church. There is 15 of us school-aged girls; each one is so unique and beautiful! Our theme was to seek to be unspotted from the world; to not seek for the approval or disapproval of the world, but instead to look to Jesus and seek to be more like Him.

As girls, we desire to be admired & for others to say, "She is beautiful." It is so tempting to want people in the world to give us their approval and say, "I like the way you dress" or "Your hair is amazing". But Jesus has a sweeter song for us ~ When He has poured out His love upon the cross for us, how silly it is for us to not pour our lives into serving Him, despite what the world may think.

One day we did yard work for a sweet neighbor lady.

Another day, we visited an assisted living nursing home where we performed fun skits & enjoyed talking with the residents ~

Swimming & Free time;

Two nights we were able to sleep out in a tent which made such memories!! But on the last night, as we were snuggling in, the rainclouds broke open and we ran (dramatically) to the back porch with all of our blankets & pillows.
I was so blessed by the humble and gentle hearts of each girl! God revealed His love over & again through their patience, excitement, and open hearts...
