For the fourth of July, we headed south to spend the weekend with our good friends,
the Lindbergs. We enjoying spending time with them on Saturday, and then celebrating our country's anniversary by watching fireworks that night. After church on Sunday the whole family headed home except for Livy and Nikki. The fun was just beginning for us. :o)
We took TONs of pictures. I mean, you don't even want to see them all. So here are some highlights from the week.
**********************************************************
Lydia has a job working for her neighbor who is traveling overseas. So everyday we would walk over to her house and water her plants, feed her cats, and make sure everything looked okay. On the way back to the Lindberg's house in the evenings, the sun always danced on the grass in a way I hadn't seen for along time. Thus the above picture.
Shopping. Not much more to say, except we did a ton of that too. :)
On Tuesday night, we went to a Bright Lights Bible study. We met their friends the Adams and stayed "quite" late into the night-er-morning getting to know them. :o)
We also, rode their horses...
and tried to take all these cute pictures, that ending up looking not-so-cute, but they hold enough memories to make up for it....
You got to make do, when you don't have a personal photographer!
Shoes...they also played their part in the week also. :D
That week was so fun. We had a blast, but had plenty of time to make bread and talk about the seriousness of life. We are so thankful to have wonderful friends--like the Lindbergs!!!
