"As you look at the day before you, you see a twisted, complicated path, with branches going off in all directions. You wonder how you can possible find your way through that maze. Then you remember the One who is with you always, holding you by your right hand, You recall My promise to guide you with My counsel, and you begin to relax. As you look again at the path ahead, you notice that a peaceful fog has settled over it, obscuring your view. You can see only a few steps in front of you, so you turn your attention more fully to Me and begin to enjoy My Presence.
The fog is protection for you, calling you back into the present moment. Although I inhabit all of space and time, you can communicate with Me only here and now. Someday the fog will no longer be necessary, for you will have learned to keep your focus on Me and on the path just ahead of you."

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the fog. It was a beautiful reminder for me this morning! Thank you for wanting me to learn trust. Thank you for pursuing me over & over, longing for me to trust You.
29. Learning to tell Bible Stories a new way. It is hard to stand up and try something hard & new! My Dad & I joined some other friends and attended a 1-day training of Simply The Story - Oral Bible story training! (http://simplythestory.org/oralbiblestories/). It was hard to listen to the facts of the need for Oral Bible stories, but also caused my heart to give thanks. It was hard to stand up and tell others a Bible Story (to risk looking silly, making a mistake, doing a "bad" job....but, after all, what reasons could be more crazy?!) It is hard to try something new, it is good to realize what I could learn, how I can grow in sharing God's love! It is empowering to be shown a new way of telling others about Jesus. I loved learning this lesson today!

Did you know that 44% of people in America can read just fine, but prefer to learn orally - by being told or shown by example?
Did you know that 13% of people in America learn best and most enjoy learning by reading or writing? (This last group is the individuals who are also writing the Bible literature, books, etc - usually for people who learn best by reading!)
I had no idea! How exciting ~ story-telling is not just something that Jesus did. It is for us learn to do, too!
